Hello, just call me Ash Pine for now.

I used to think of myself as a peculiar person. I will warn
you, I am a bit strange. But, still a caring person. I cherish my friends
more then gold. Like most of the mlp people, I like horses in general.
When I was younger, I played with mlp's with my favorite
cousin, Sarah. She was spoiled and had more then I did. But she grew out of
them before I did, and when her mom had a yard sale, I attacked the pony
bins and got all the one's I didn't have as a child.
I grew up in a home with loving parents. They are still
married to eachother. My mother was very relaxed in her housework, and I
followed those manners, I wouldn't say I'm messy, I still know where
everything is.. but it's not put away neatly. I am also a packrat!
I grew up on a farm. A small personal farm. We had 13 acres
out in the middle of no where. We had a horse (Quarter Horse), chickens
(about 50), cattle (7 total), dogs (all labs or lab mixes), cats (barn cats,
strays), rabbits (2 does, 1 buck), Guinea Hens (about 10), and turkeys. Our
animals were just for fun, or for food for our family only. Yes, I ate my
own 'pets'. But I knew ahead of time, that was what we got them for. Tho I
never named them names like Hamburger or Beef Stew. We were 5 miles from the
nearest paved road, and nice neighbors with 300+ acres, so I had plenty of
area to ride my horse.
After High School, I experienced some hard times. I call it
my past life, a part of me that I don't wish to recognize most of the time.
I had big dreams as a kid, and I don't say they have been shattered, but
they are dramatically slowed down. I lived those things that we all said as
teenages... "That will never happen to me".
About 4 years ago I met the man of my dreams, he has been
great. My daughter loves him, like he was her own father. She does not know
any different at this point, as she is only 4, and he's the only man that
she has seen in her life. When the right time comes, she will know, but not
right now. My man and I have been engaged for 6 months now, hopefully, soon
we will get to get married, lol. We just want a house of our own, and all
that before we get hitched.
When I found out that I was pregnant for my daughter, I knew
at once she was a girl, I never was told by her ultra-sound. Anyway, as we
were making her nursery, I wanted her to love horses from the start. My mom
repainted my room, and I painted mlp's on the walls. When she was about 2
years old, she found BBE Baby Sundance in my old toy box. She carried it
everywhere, loved her more then her other toys. This is when I pulled out
the box of my childhood memories. I showed them all to her, and she would
put them in her baby buggy and push them around. At that time we had a total
of 40 ponies.
Over the years, I have traded, sold, and purchased ponies,
so she could have them. She was always monitored when she played with them,
the crayons, markers, and scissors where hidden as she played with them. And
now, she knows that she wants to keep them nice. Now we have about 200
ponies. I have not done a count in about a year, but they all fit in a large
rubbermaid tub.
